"Old Lady" by The Dead Monkeys
Here's a long lost "Dead Monkeys" recording recovered from a cassette tape. Judging from the sound of it, it most likely would have been recorded sometime in the summer of 1987 during one of the many basement rehearsals on Old Mill Road. "Old Lady" is exemplary of the attempt to write more complex material with various rhythm and mood changes. My guess is that it was recorded on a stereo cassette deck with one channel hooked up to a room mic and the other channel hooked up to a PA line out. The recording was then mixed to mono, a typical Dead Monkey practice when there was no 4 track machine available. Visit the Dead Monkey Myspace Page for more information.

Sool vs Krampus
Krampus is on the loose and the obscure rock band Sool is called upon to save not only Santa and Christmas, but the world as we know it. This animated holiday feature promises fun for the whole family as intrigue, deception, and horror give way to the spirit of camaraderie and benevolence. Visit www.soolmusic.com for more Sool. Enjoy!
